Leadership

Pastor Nathaniel and his wife, Shera, moved to Oxford, Ms in the fall of 2014 with the intent of planting a church.  Previously they have served in various positions of ministry in Tupelo, Ms; Columbia, Ms; Beaumont, Tx; and Stockton, Ca. In his spare time Pastor Rios enjoys playing golf, spending time with people, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors!  

Sis. Shera is the amazing wife of our pastor, as well mother to 5 Rios boys Treyson, Chandler, Lyndon, Bryler, and Wessley-Fynn, each of which adds a special touch to this bunch. Shera is a dynamic worship leader and a wonderful confidant.  She thrives in areas that she can use her creativity and organization skills.  Sis. Shera is also the coordinator for Spring up Kids and Spring up Kids Jr. 

Cynthia joined the WCC team in August of 2017 after graduating with a BA in Christian Ministry.  After transplanting from the North, she quickly learned that the South had much more to offer her than just sweet tea.  Cynthia is a progressive, millennial leader who has served in multiple organizations, growing their administrative teams. 

Andrew is a native Mississippian with a passion for seeing the kingdom of God grow. Using his natural leadership abilities, Andrew creates a path for Young People and Young Adults to connect with Christ in Oxford. 

Edgar is a driven young leader who strives for excellence and order in every regard. Focused and organized, he provides a structured environment for other millennials to thrive. Along with being the Young Adult Leader for WCC, Edgar also assist with youth ministry and overviewing the Social Media for Wellspring.

Bethany is a vibrant and warm hearted leader, who's passion to reach and welcome people into the Wellspring family is blatant. As the hospitality coordinator, her role stretches from the Greeting and  Welcoming Committee to orchestrating weekly follow up calls and care team.

Nycoma is a hardworking mother of three who is passionate about seeing others grow in the kingdom of God. She has a wide array of talents and she is able to complete her goals with excellence and efficiency. She recently has been named as the Solo Singles Director and looks forward to creating another layer of community and fellowship at Wellspring.

Jennifer is an LPC and is a degreed M.Ed, with an emphasis in substance abuse. She leads our Grief Share Group, a friendly program that specifically walks alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences, loss.  You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone and we would love for you to join this process.
